Loot & rewards

Daily Quests

Nine quests a day, three of each difficulty. All of them pay class XP.

Every day you get nine quests: three easy, three medium, three hard. They reset together at midnight, server time.

Daily quests are the single best source of class XP on the server - which makes them the fastest route to using better gear. See Level Requirements for why that matters.

The rewards

Every quest pays class XP only. No money, no items, no coins.

DifficultyPer questFor finishing all three
Easy250 class XP750 class XP + 1 diamond
Medium500 class XP1,000 class XP + 2 diamonds
Hard750 class XP1,500 class XP + 3 diamonds

Finishing all nine pays 4,500 class XP plus 6 diamonds, before counting the completion bonuses. For comparison, that is most of a level in the early game.

What the quests ask

They are deliberately ordinary - the things you would be doing anyway, with a target attached. Real examples:

QuestDifficultyAsks
Can't see the ore for the rocksEasyMine 32 stone or cobblestone
Let's get lumber-jacked!EasyBreak 20 logs
Too many zombiesEasyKill 10 zombies
Snowball FightEasyThrow 12 snowballs
Call me a crop starEasyHarvest 12 wheat
Too many witchesMediumKill 12 witches
It's a WAR!HardThrow 4 fire charges
Can't see the ore for the rocksHardMine 2 ancient debris

Each difficulty also has a harder variant of the same idea - the hard version of a mining quest asks for ancient debris rather than stone.

Rerolling

Do not like a quest? Reroll it.

/dq reroll <number>

Rerolls are unlimited. You can reroll as many times as you like, on any quest, including one you have already finished. There is no cost and no daily cap.

That makes the system much less punishing than it sounds - if a hard quest wants something you cannot get to today, reroll it into something you can.

Tracking progress

A boss bar across the top of your screen tracks the quest you are working on, filling as you make progress. Completing one fires a title and a message.

Open the quest menu with /dq (or /dailyquests, /quests) to see all nine and their progress.

One thing to know

Quests do not progress in the Nether or the End. They count only in the overworld. If a quest seems stuck, check where you are.
