Bank
Deposit money and earn 1% a day, compounded. It keeps earning while you are offline - up to a week.
The bank pays you interest on money you leave with it. Run /bank to open it.
The rate
1% per day, compounded. Interest is added every 24 hours and then earns interest itself, so a balance left alone grows faster than 1% a day simple.
| Left alone for | $10,000 becomes |
|---|---|
| 1 day | $10,100 |
| 1 week | $10,720 |
| 1 month (capped) | $10,720 |
That last row is the catch.
The week cap
Interest keeps accruing while you are offline, which is the point of the bank. But there is a limit: only 7 days' worth is credited.
If you are away for a month, you are paid as if you had been away a week. The rest of the time is simply discarded - it is not banked up and paid on your return.
So it is worth logging in at least once a week to reset the clock. A player who checks in every few days earns meaningfully more than one who returns monthly, on the same balance.
Using it
| Minimum deposit | $100 |
| Minimum withdrawal | $100 |
| Interest cap | none - there is no limit on how much can earn |
In the menu, the step buttons are $1,000 by default, with 10× and 100× buttons beside them. There are no cooldowns on depositing or withdrawing.
Two shortcuts worth knowing:
- Right-click any step button to move half that amount.
- Shift-click to move everything.
Withdrawing
Your bank balance is not your pocket balance. Money in the bank earns interest; money in your pocket is what the shop and the auction house spend. You move between them yourself - the bank does not pay out automatically.
