Land & fair play
Fair Play
What the anti-cheat watches for, and what staff can put back if something is destroyed.
Two systems keep the server fair. One watches what players do; the other keeps a record of what happened so it can be undone.
If you are destroying things
Every block placed and broken on the server is logged. So is what is taken from containers, and what kills what.
That log is what makes recovery possible. If your base is levelled while you are offline, staff can roll the area back to how it was before - restoring the blocks and the contents of chests, not just clearing the mess.
A few things worth knowing about how that works in practice:
- Rollback works by area, not by victim. Staff select a region and rewind it, so the fix is
exactly the damage, not the whole world.
- It restores what was logged. Blocks, container contents and killed mobs. It cannot restore
something that was never recorded.
- Report quickly. Rolling back is far easier before the area has been rebuilt on top of.
If you are cheating
The server runs an anti-cheat that watches movement, combat and world interaction.
It does not ban automatically - staff get an alert with the details, and they decide. But the alerts accumulate: every failed check is recorded against you with a violation level, and a pattern across several checks is what gets acted on.
What it is looking at:
| Movement | Speed, flight, teleporting, clipping through blocks |
| Combat | Reach, kill aura, auto-clicking, impossible hit rates |
| World | Fast break, fast place, interacting through walls |
Some violations result in an immediate kick rather than an alert. If you are disconnected with a timeout error for no apparent reason while doing something questionable, that is what happened.
What is allowed
- Optifine, Sodium and performance mods.
- Map mods, minimaps without entity radar.
- Inventory and UI improvements that do not automate anything.
- Shaders.
What is not
- Anything that moves, aims or clicks for you.
- X-ray or anything that reveals blocks you could not see.
- Automating gameplay while you are away.
- Exploiting a bug. Report it instead - exploiting a dupe is treated the same as cheating.
If you are unsure
Ask staff before using something. Being told to stop is a much better outcome than being banned for something you thought was fine.
