Combat
Bestiary
Every custom creature in Survival 1, region by region - level, health, damage, and how many are loose at once.
Almost nothing hostile in the survival worlds uses a vanilla model. The creatures below are purpose-built, and each region has its own ladder of them - a Tier 1 nuisance, a Tier 2 problem, a Tier 3 fight, and a boss at the top.

How to read an entry
Each entry gives the creature's level, health, damage per hit, and max - how many of that creature the server keeps alive in the region at once. When a region says max 2, you are not going to meet a pack of them.
Tier is the ladder position, not a difficulty rating on its own. A Tier 3 in the Desert and a Tier 3 in Mistvale are twenty levels apart.
Two things worth knowing before you fight any of them:
The mob underneath is still there. A custom creature is an ordinary Minecraft mob - a ravager, a husk, a spider - wearing a model. That mob is what you are hitting, what has the health bar, and what drops the loot. There is no separate invisible box floating somewhere else.
Size is not decoration. A bigger model comes with a bigger hitbox. The Sea Serpent and the Ancient Treant are physically large, which cuts both ways: easier to hit, harder to walk around.
The models arrive as an optional resource pack. If it fails to download you simply see the vanilla mob instead - a ravager where the sandworm should be. Nothing breaks: the fight is identical, because the mob underneath never changed. Reconnecting usually fixes it.
Aurel Coast — Lv 1-5
The starting region. Everything here is slow enough to learn on, and each creature is tied to one kind of ground.
Reef Stalker
Never leaves the water, and cannot follow you onto land. The safest first fight on the server, as long as you keep your feet dry.
Tideclaw Crab
Sand-bound. It patrols the beaches and stops at the waterline, so the shoreline is where you meet it and where you can leave it.
Storm Harpy
Only appears at night, and it flies. The first creature here that can chase you somewhere you did not plan to go.
Kraken
Appears in game as Maelstrom of Mistvale. Far and away the strongest thing on this page relative to the region it lives in - a Lv 44 boss standing in a Lv 1-5 zone. Do not approach it until you have levelled somewhere else. See Bosses.
Verdant Plains — Lv 5-10
Horned Boar
Charges rather than circles. Weak on its own, and rarely on its own.
Razorclaw Raptor
Fast and persistent. This is the creature that teaches you not to fight with your back to a cliff.
Behemoth
The region's heavy. Slow enough to outrun, heavy enough that you should not try to trade hits.
Plains Minotaur
Appears in game as Horncrown, the Verdant Bull. Four times the health of a Behemoth, announced when it spawns, and back 30 minutes after it dies.
Sunstorm Desert — Lv 10-20
Desert Ghoul
The weakest thing in the desert by a distance. Its health is low; its damage is not.
Dune Scorpion
Lives under the sand and is easy to walk past until it is already on you.
Sand Wraith
The hardest regular creature in the region, and it hits like it.
Sandworm
Appears in game as Sunstorm Sandworm. Far more health than anything else here, and it hits harder than the Wraith.
Evergreen Wilds — Lv 15-25
Dire Wolf
Hunts in numbers. The cap is six, and you will meet them in threes and fours.
Forest Troll
Slow, heavy, and worth fighting for the drop rather than the sport.
Ancient Treant
Only two exist at a time, and both are large. The biggest thing in the Wilds short of the boss.
Wendigo
Appears in game as The Starving Cold. It out-damages everything else in the Wilds by a wide margin.
Ashen Expanse — Lv 20-30
Ash Ghoul
Common and cheap. Do not let the low health fool you into standing still near several.
Magma Hound
Fast, and it closes distance quickly across open ground.
Obsidian Golem
Rare and heavy. Only two are loose at once, which is exactly as many as you want to meet.
Infernal Dragon
Appears in game as Pyrewing, the Ashen Wyrm. The region's boss, and the hardest hitter in the Expanse.
Frostpeak Range — Lv 30-40
Frost Wraith
High level, low health. The level on its nametag overstates it.
Icebound Wolf
The common creature here, and numerically the biggest threat in the region.
Ice Giant
Only two at a time, and physically the largest thing in the range after the boss.
Yeti
Appears in game as Frostpeak Yeti. Lower level than an Ice Giant, and several times the health.
Mistvale Coast — Lv 40-50
The end of Survival 1, and the last region before the level gate.
Siren
Fragile for its level. Dangerous only in the water, where you are slow and it is not.
Sea Serpent
Only two alive at once, and by some distance the largest regular creature on the server. Big model, big hitbox - it is easier to hit than it looks, and much harder to get past.
Isonade
The middle of the coast's ladder, and the one most likely to catch you swimming.
Leviathan
Appears in game as Mistvale Leviathan. More health than anything else on the coast, and it hits harder than the Isonade.
