Coins & Money

There are two currencies, they are not interchangeable, and mixing them up is the most common early mistake.

Elderian runs on two separate currencies. They look different in chat, they come from different places, and you cannot swap one for the other. Knowing which is which early saves a lot of confusion.

The short version: money is everyday, earned by playing normally. Coins are premium - slower to earn, and the only way to buy ranks and crate keys.

Your balance is on the sidebar, both lines together. In chat you will see coins as ⛂ and money as $.

Spending money

Money is the working currency - most of the server runs on it. In rough order of what players actually spend it on:

A note on the shop's buy prices

The price the shop charges you to buy is not fixed. It moves with the town's reputation - defend the town well and things get cheaper; let it get overrun and they get dearer. The price you sell at never changes.

See The Shop for how that works.
